Rates

  • Individual rates
    • Round trip - $149
    • One-way - $99
    • Infants (up to 2 years old) - no charge if not taking a seat.
    • Anyone taking up a seat, or 2 years old or over, pays.
  • Companion Rates
    • Traveler 1 is charged the individual rate ($149 for Round trip, or $99 for one-way trip).
    • Companion(s) (1 or 2), are each charged $125 for round trips, or $75 for one-way trips.
    • All travelers must travel on the same bus (in both directions if round trip).
    • Differing pickup and drop-off points are allowed.
    • Payment for all travelers must be on the same credit card (or department account).
    • Someone must be designated as the contact person (does not have to be a traveler, but if the contact person is traveling, they should be designated as Traveler 1).
  • Small Group Rate (4-9 people)
    • All travelers are charged $125 each for a round trip, or $75 each for a one-way trip.
    • All travelers must travel on the same bus (in both directions if round trip).
    • Differing pickup and drop-off points are allowed.
    • Payment for all travelers must be on the same credit card (or department account).
    • Someone must be designated as the contact person (does not have to be a traveler, but if the contact person is traveling, they should be designated as Traveler 1).
  • Large Group Rate (10 and up)
    • All travelers are charged $115 each for a round trip, or $70 each for a one-way trip.
    • All travelers must travel on the same bus (in both directions if round trip).
    • Differing pickup and drop-off points are allowed.
    • Payment for all travelers must be on the same credit card (or department account).
    • Someone must be designated as the contact person (does not have to be a traveler, but if the contact person is traveling, they should be designated as Traveler 1).

Changes

  • Changes to dates and times of trips are allowed, with no penalty, up to 24 hours before the departure time.
  • Changes to dates and times of trips made within 24 hours (but before the bus departs for NYC or Ithaca) of the departure time are allowed, but will incur a $30 per seat late cancellation fee.
  • For groups, substituting for travelers is allowed, and the original rate will remain in effect as if there was no change.
  • Additions to a group. Can only be made by the contact person/payer. The appropriate rate for the new group size will be computed, and the additional amount charged.

Cancellations

  • A reservation may be cancelled up until 24 hours prior to the day of departure without penalty.
  • A reservation cancelled within 24 hours of departure (but before the bus departs for NYC or Ithaca) will incur a $30 per seat fee. The credit card or department account will be credited for the original amount charged less $30.
  • If the cancellation is for a member of a group, the resulting group size will dictate the amount of refund (if any). In addition, the $30 per seat fee will apply if the cancellation is within 24 hours (but before the bus departs for NYC or Ithaca), of departure.

No shows

The traveler(s) does not board the bus, and the bus has now left for NYC or Ithaca without them.

  • The entire amount originally charged is retained and the trip is forfeited.
  • Exception: If the no show is for the first leg of a round trip, the traveler(s) may opt to travel cancel the associated return leg of that trip. If the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance of that return, the rate for the missed trip will be adjusted to $99 (the one-way rate), yielding a $50 credit applied to the credit card or department account originally charged. If the cancellation for the return is made less than 24 hours in advance, there will be a $30 per seat late cancellation fee, resulting in a $20 refund.

Every attempt will be made to make this service and its associated amenities as reliable as possible, Cornell University is not responsible for schedule delays due to traffic, weather, mechanical failure, or acts of God. Cornell's contractor will on occasion--during repairs and routine maintenance--need to use substitute equipment, or may not have any or all amenities available. No price adjustments or refunds will be issued in these instances.
